Reaney Mountain Timberworks was built on a simple foundation, hard work, craftsmanship, and respect for the land.
I started this new chapter in my life to create something real—furniture that isn’t rushed, mass-produced, or built from cheap materials. Just solid wood, shaped by hand, the way it should be.
At Reaney Mountain Timberworks, every piece starts in the forest. Not a factory. Every log I work with is carefully selected, often sourced from fire-affected areas in Alberta. Instead of letting that wood go to waste, I turn it into something lasting—pieces that carry both strength and history.
From harvesting and hauling, to shaping, sanding, and finishing, every step is done by me. It’s not the fastest way to build furniture—but it’s the right way.
Good furniture should feel solid the moment you touch it.
It should have weight. Character. Presence. And most importantly—it should last.
